Home interior design in Lamu
We design and finish homes across Lamu — including Lamu Old Town, Shela and Manda Island. Whether you own a new apartment, a family house or a rental unit in Lamu, we plan each room around how you live: storage that fits your belongings, layouts that make rooms feel larger, lighting for every time of day and finishes that are easy to keep clean. You see everything in 3D before any work starts.
Designing for Lamu's homes and climate
Coastal interiors have to cope with heat, humidity and salt air. We specify moisture-resistant boards, marine-grade hardware, stainless or powder-coated fittings, breathable natural fabrics and finishes that won't swell or rust. Design-wise, coastal homes and hotels suit light, airy palettes, natural timber, rattan, makuti and Swahili-inspired details that keep spaces cool and relaxed.
