Residential interior design

Home interior design in Kenya, done properly

Your home should feel calm, look beautiful and work for the way your family really lives. KejaPal Interior Designers plans and builds residential interiors across Nairobi and Kenya — from one-bedroom apartments in Kilimani and Ruaka to family homes in Karen, Runda, Kitengela and Nakuru, and holiday homes in Nyali and Diani.

We start with how you use each room: where the morning light comes in, where the children do homework, how many people you host, and where everything will be stored. Only then do we choose colours, materials and furniture. The result is a home that looks designed and stays easy to live in.

Rooms we design

  • Living rooms and TV walls
  • Kitchens and dining areas
  • Master bedrooms, guest rooms and children's rooms
  • Bathrooms and en-suites
  • Wardrobes, walk-in closets and storage
  • Home offices and study rooms

Why homeowners choose KejaPal

You see every room in 3D before work starts, you get a fixed written quote, and our own crews deliver the work — so there's no chasing fundis or explaining the design to five different contractors. We can also work remotely for Kenyans in the diaspora, with photo and video updates at every stage.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can't find your answer? Ask us on WhatsApp.

Can you work with furniture I already own?

Yes. We design around pieces you love and only replace what doesn't work.

Can you start before I get the keys to an off-plan unit?

Yes. We can design from the developer's floor plans so work starts the day you get access.

What size sofa suits my living room?

Leave at least 75cm of walkway around furniture. We plan this in the 3D layout before you buy anything.

Can you make a small bedroom feel bigger?

Yes — floor-to-ceiling wardrobes, light colours, mirrors and wall-mounted lighting all add space.

Are your finishes safe for children?

Yes. We use low-VOC paints, rounded edges and anchor tall furniture to walls.

Can a home office fit in a bedroom?

Yes — we design fold-away or built-in desks that disappear when the work day ends.

How high should a dining pendant hang?

About 75–85cm above the tabletop gives good light without blocking views.

Can you renovate without breaking all the tiles?

Sometimes. For light refreshes we can tile over or replace fittings only; we'll advise after a site visit.
